Chinese sentiment in Wenchang, people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits are of the same family. On Feb. 22, the sixth cross-Straits Wenchang cultural Exchange activity and Dashu Road (Zitong) Cultural Tourism Development Conference was held in Zitong county, Mianyang city, and More than 200 guests from both sides attended the event.
The event was organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Mianyang Municipal People's Government, and undertook by Taiwan Affairs Office of Mianyang Municipal People's Government, Mianyang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Zitong County People's Government. The theme of the event was "promoting morality and culture in Wenchang, China", integrated commemorative, cultural, tourism, academic, economic and trade activities, manifested local cultural characteristics, and highlighted cross-Straits exchanges and integrated development.
After the opening ceremony, following the ancient temple fair custom, three sacred drums, the main gate of the Qqushan Temple opened slowly, and the solemn ceremony of Wenchang sacrificial ceremony began. (as shown in the figure)
Guests on both sides of the Taiwan Strait wear ribbons, stand in awe and watch, and sacrifice Wenchang together. Wenchang sacrifice ceremony in accordance with the traditional Wenchang sacrifice "three gifts" regulation, the whole process with sacrifice song and dance "six Yi dance", long sleeves bright eyes, clothes fluttering. Representatives from all walks of life on both sides of the Taiwan Strait slowly walked up the altar to offer scrolls, incense and flower baskets to Emperor Wenchang. At the beginning of the dedication process, 41 students from both sides dressed in Hanfu presented the scroll and recited the Yin Zhi Wen. During the ceremony, 20 representatives from all walks of life on both sides of the Taiwan Straits took to the stage to offer incense and pray for blessings and prosperity, peace and prosperity. At the end of the ceremony, guests from both sides presented flower baskets to Emperor Wenchang. The ceremony was solemn and magnificent. With the magnificent Ode to Wen Chang and sacrificial music and dance, the Wenchang ceremony was successfully completed.
On the same day, a Cross-straits cultural exchange activities in Wenchang was held simultaneously at the Zhenghe Academy in Taichung, Taiwan. More than 200 people wore ancient clothes and performed ancient rites. More than 200 people, wearing ancient clothes and performing ancient rites, offered tributes, lit incense at the ceremony, recited offerings and other pious ceremonies, as well as watched each other by video link between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, and offered sacrifices to Emperor Wenchang.
