On February 23, the Municipal government held the 51st executive meeting to convey the spirit of learning from General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, and to plan for steady economic growth, scientific and technological innovation, production safety and other work. The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the third group study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on February 21. It stressed that local governments and relevant departments should do their best to promote steady economic growth, take the lead and take the initiative in work, and do a solid job in key work such as project investment, industrial production, consumption and investment promotion. We coordinated work safety with economic and social development, and ensured that the economy got off to a good start in the first quarter and work safety got off to a stable start. We should give strong support to basic research, focus on the development trend of science and technology and the national strategic needs, provide full service for the construction of major science and technology projects in Mianyang research Institute, accelerate the construction of Fujiang Laboratory and other key projects, promote the high-quality development of basic research in Mianyang, and better serve the national high-level science and technology self-reliance. It is important to effectively coordinate epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development, fully implement the requirements of "Category B and B management", further consolidate the "four responsibilities", closely focus on the core goal of "health protection and prevention of severe diseases", earnestly strengthen monitoring and early warning, analysis and judgment, and emergency preparedness, and do our best to prevent and control the epidemic in the new stage.
During the deployment of work safety, the meeting stressed the need to further strengthen the concept of safe development, strictly implement the "Fifteen" hard measures for work safety, for non-coal mines, road traffic, urban gas, construction and other key areas, continue to carry out major investigations, major exposure, major rectification actions, resolutely prevent and contain major accidents, firmly safeguard the bottom line of work safety. We will coordinate efforts to ensure food safety and prevent and extinguish fires in forests and grasslands, and do our best to protect people's lives and property.
The meeting focused on watching videos of rectification of problems reported by State supervision of cultivated land protection in 2021 and prominent problems of land violations, stressing that the Party and government should strictly implement the same responsibilities of cultivated land protection, continue to promote the rectification of problems, and ensure that the rectification task is completed on schedule. We need to organize regular retrospection, establish a long-term supervision mechanism, and resolutely prevent the rebound of problems.
The meeting listened to the report on the city's anti-drug work in 2022, stressing the need to maintain "zero tolerance", steadily carry out anti-drug "clean up the source and stop the flow", implement detailed prevention and control, monitoring and early warning, education and publicity work, strengthen the support of institutions, personnel and funds, and constantly consolidate the situation of anti-drug continued to improve.
